Tickets are now on sale to our split-bill stand-up show 'Daughter From Another Otter' for Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September. The show will be presented as part of the official Sydney Fringe Comedy program at the Factory Theatre.
Maitreyi Karanth and I first met in Hong Kong and immediately hit it off. Maitreyi and I were two of the only full-time comedians in the city and spent many nights performing together on line-up shows.
I also interviewed Maitreyi as part of the documentary 'Cross Border Comedy' on ABC TV, featuring comedians from Hong Kong, Malaysia and Cambodia.
As it is Maitreyi's first time performing in Australia, audiences will get to sample 30 minutes of Maitreyi's best material and I will be bringing 30 minutes of my freshest ideas that will be transformed into a new solo show next year.
