The debut run of 'Putting the Us in Uterus' is playing until 19 April at Trades Hall, Carlton.
Last night, Miranda Hill and I started our run of shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
A lovely audience showed up to witness the first iteration of our women's health show, which we have been working on since last year.
Combining music, storytelling and a sprinkle of improv, the show focuses on our shared experiences of suffering from fibroids (a common issue that can affect people with uteruses).
Like many of my previous shows, the performance is made up of different segments, ranging from games, pop quizzes and even some singing.
This year I have also created a commemorative, Comedy Festival 40th anniversary tea towel that audiences can purchase after the show.
There are some great deals you can snag, including Tightarse Tuesday, Group Discounts and more.
Details:
'Putting the Us in Uterus'
9pm at Trades Hall, Corner Lygon and Victoria Streets, Carlton
