 Annie Louey

Annie's quick wit and cheeky charm has made her a popular choice for hosting TV, radio and events, both in Australia and abroad.

With a strong background in stand-up comedy as well as journalism, Annie has mastered the art of being serious one minute and funny the next.

Annie started comedy at 16 and never looked back. So far she has hosted two seasons of China Tonight on ABC TV, is a regular guest on ABC News Breakfast, and was host of Rediscover Victoria, a travel program now living on SBS On Demand.

Annie has appeared on programs such as The Cheap Seats (Channel 10), The Weekly (ABC TV) and is h
eard regularly on radio shows across the country.

She has also performed at some of the most sought-after gigs around the country, including the Comedy Festival’s Opening Night Allstars Supershow at the Palais Theatre.

When not on the stage, Annie is busy creating her own content. She was one of the recipients of ABC TV and Screen Australia's Fresh Blood funding, where she created a series of sketches called I'm So Sorry for Your Loss. Watch them now on YouTube.
